In the clothing industry, there are a range of standards and certifications that guarantee the sustainability of the clothing:

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) - the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from at least 70% certified organic natural fibres. GOTS certification requires social and environmental compliance at all stages from the processing, manufacturing, packaging and labelling, to the trading and distribution.

SA-8000 - the leading social certification standard for factories across the world, measuring social performance in areas such as child labour, health & safety, freedom of association and right to collective bargaining, working hours and remuneration.

Fairtrade - Fairtrade certification guarantees better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 - an independent, worldwide testing and certification system which tests materials, garments and accessories for substances harmful to health or the environment.
